Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, product-led service on the shop floor
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Achieve individual and store sales targets
- Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash and card payments accurately
- Keep displays, shelves and stock levels well presented and replenished
- Assist with deliveries, stock counts and price labelling
- Handle exchanges and returns according to company policy
- Promote loyalty programmes and ongoing offers
Requirements
- 1+ year of retail or customer-facing experience
- Good spoken English and a confident, approachable manner
- Comfortable standing for full shifts and working weekends and public holidays
- Basic numeracy and till-handling ability
- Well-presented, punctual and reliable
- Team player who can also work independently during quiet periods
