Protect personal documents

Do not share passport scans, bank details or Emirates ID copies before a formal offer and verified employer check.

Watch for pressure tactics

Be cautious of employers who demand immediate decisions, refuse to meet in person or communicate only via messaging apps.

Verify before applying

Check the employer profile, look for the verified badge and research the company independently before sharing information.

If something feels wrong

Stop communicating with the employer, do not send money or documents, and use the Report button on the job or company page. You can also contact UAE authorities through the relevant channels if you believe you have encountered a scam.
