Thumbay University Hospital is expanding its inpatient medical ward and is recruiting Registered Nurses to join a 24/7 rota. You will care for adult patients across general medicine, working alongside consultants, allied health staff and a nursing team of more than 200 colleagues. We support MOH/DHA licence transfers and provide structured clinical induction during your first eight weeks.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to assigned patients throughout the shift
- Administer medication and IV therapy in line with hospital protocol
- Record accurate observations and nursing notes in the hospital information system
- Assist physicians during ward rounds, procedures and admissions
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans and medication
- Escalate deteriorating patients promptly using the early warning score
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a three-year nursing diploma
- Valid MOH, DHA or DOH licence, or eligibility letter in hand
- Minimum 2 years of hospital ward experience
- BLS certification valid at the time of joining
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts
