Job overview
We are looking for an HSE Officer to strengthen safety performance across our Sharjah operations. You will run inspections, investigate incidents and coach frontline teams so that every colleague goes home safely. The role reports to the HSE Manager and works closely with terminal operations and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily site inspections and close out findings with owners
- Investigate incidents and near misses and publish lessons learned
- Deliver safety inductions and toolbox training to staff and contractors
- Maintain HSE records, permits to work and statutory documentation
- Support ISO 45001 internal and external audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Safety or Environmental Science
- NEBOSH IGC certification
- Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in ports, logistics or heavy industry
- Confident report writing and presentation skills
