KPMG Lower Gulf is hiring an Audit Associate in Downtown Dubai to join a team serving clients across the Dubai market. You will plan and execute audit fieldwork, test controls and balances, document findings and support managers in delivering clean, on-time engagements.
Responsibilities
- Perform audit fieldwork on assigned client engagements
- Test internal controls, balances and transaction samples
- Prepare working papers to firm and IFRS standards
- Draft sections of audit reports and management letters
- Liaise with client finance teams to obtain schedules and explanations
- Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
- Support seniors and managers on planning and completion
- Keep engagements on budget and to deadline
Requirements
- 2+ years of external audit or assurance experience
- Working knowledge of IFRS and audit methodology
- Part-qualified or pursuing ACCA, CA or CPA
- Strong Excel and audit software skills
- Excellent written English for report drafting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or commerce
